『Thank you for all your support with my Ino-cho museum exhibition』リチャード・アンセル
The Ino-cho Paper Museum exhibition went off very smoothly and my artwork looked very nice in their excellent gallery!
NHK TV ran several information spots on their Kochi local news section, and both Kochi Shimbun and Mainichi Shimbun did photo articles about me and my artwork in their arts sections!
Misato also chatted with her uncle Yoshida Rui on Kochi FM radio, and spoke about our lives in the mountains and the exhibition :)
All these efforts helped to bring in over 500 visitors to the exhibit! :)
The two young reporters from the Kochi and Mainichi newspapers were particularly supportive and friendly and I have hopes for for their assistance in mounting a future exhibition on Japanese Newspaper Aircraft :)
I have also had some interesting discussions with various people about my ideas of making a small Japanese aviation museum somewhere close by on route 33 :)
There seem to be many small museums in Shikoku and local communities are supportive of new ideas to revive their areas by encouraging u-turn people from the big cities like Tokyo and Osaka to start new creative lives in the countryside :)
This first year in the Tosa mountains has been an incredibly exciting and liberating experience :)
